What's going on?
Does your pug have a mug? Is your cat where it's at? Now's your chance to prove that your pet is "the cutest pet" in Southern Illinois and at the same time, do something great for homeless and abandoned animals throughout the region.
How do I participate?
It's only $10 for each pet you enter and a portion of the entry fee will go to benefit local animal shelters. The deadline to submit your pet's photo is Thursday, February 9th. Don't have a pet to submit? For only $1, you can come vote your favorites starting on February 10th.
Whose pet is the cutest?
Voting will take place online, starting on February 10th. Votes may be purchased for $1 each (discounted rates available for bulk votes) and will benefit local shelters. Ballots will be tabulated through Wednesday, March 7th at 4:00pm. Winner will be announced in the Southern Illinoisan on Sunday, March 11th.
